Car Drawing: Quick Tips
Always have a photo of the car you want to draw to refer to often. This will help you remember important details that will help give your car some character. You can also use a toy car for this same reason. Start by sketching the basic shape of the car on paper. Don't get caught up with perfect lines right now. You will do that step later.
Next, you will want to draw in the prominent details of the car, such as door outlines, window outlines, etc. You will find that as you add details to your car, you will need to change line shapes as you go. That is why having a really good eraser comes in handy.
Now you want to add the more subtle details, such as hubcaps, windshield wipers, and car lights. At this point you will be ready to start erasing the original lines you drew to make the car look more realistic.
